If anyone can please ELI5 on how to fix this issue, I would greatly appreciate it. Here are my transcode settings: AVI/ Matroc I was also given the advice to render my videos, but that option isn't highlighted and I can't even click on it. It makes it very difficult for me to even 'see' what I'm editing or how everything is turning out. Every time I try to play a video (in the view finder or on the timeline), the video is so ridiculously laggy and choppy, for both video and audio.

I'm having an issue with the playback for my videos.
